• We are a family of seven—three adolescent foster kids, an 8-year-old daughter, a 36-year-old daughter and a mobile 90-year-old mom. We have a walk-in pantry that must accommodate the various food needs of the family. It was a mess!
Some foods would spoil or age, just because we could not see what we had. Sometimes we would over-buy because my mom did not know that she already had 3 huge bottles of prune juice SOMEWHERE in the pantry. Even when we thought we were getting on top of it, one trip to Costco would have it in total disarray—again.
Clutter Free Design helped solve all of that. Danita was able to assess our family’s particular needs and design an organizational schematic and systems that has our pantry beautifully organized with all the foods in categories and easily accessible. And with a little discipline on our part, we can end that chaos for good.
Now when I walk into the pantry to retrieve fixings for family meals, I’m stress-free. I don't have to stand there looking, searching, moving items to find anything! We no longer play "family scavenger hunt" where various family members 'go in' to see if they can find that can of peaches somebody saw last week.
